| Weyandt's Gymnastics was founded by Derwood and Sandra Weyandt in 1977, in rented warehouse space. Through hard work and a talented staff, by 1979 we outgrew the warehouse. In 1980 we moved to an 8800 square foot facility were we embarked on the mission to provide "Professional Instruction with a Personal Touch." Growth continued, and by mid-1984 we increased the size of our facility to the 13,500 square feet of training area you see today.
Since 1977, many children have come and gone. Some earned scholoarships for gymnastics and some went on to pursue other interests in life. And each child who has ever stepped foot into our gym, also stepped into the Weyandt family. After 30 years in the gymnastics business, I'm very proud of our accomplishments. But what is most rewarding to me is to see the children we've known from the past grow into adults and then bring their own children to us in hopes of instilling the same magical experience in them. And while a lot has changed over the years, one thing that hasn't changed is our commitment to provide "Professional Instruction with a Personal Touch." Thanks for visiting our website.
